While native Bellflowers are somewhat localized and uncommon in VT, the species below don't seem to mind the non-native species that are commonly cultivated and established as escapes.

Scissor Bees (Genus Chelostoma)
Two non-native scissor bees are possible on Bellflowers in VT. One uncommon, punitive generalist has been found a few times on Bellflower, while a specialist is known from as close as Montreal.
Louisiana Painted-Dark Bee (Stelis louisae)
This colorful Dark Bee is a cleptoparasite of the Bellflower Resin Bee. Though its a generalist in its own flower preferences, it is tied to its bellflowers through the diet of its host. Not yet found in Vermont, but likely given its the most common Dark Bee in Massachusetts. Image courtesy of Margarita Miklasevskaja.
