This is a common late-spring generalist that can be the dominant species on some flowering shrubs.
Identification: Relatively large and nondescript with sparse hairs on the thorax and few if any hairs on an all dark abdomen. Unlike some other Andrena, the wings are often held at 45 degree angles.
