This is an uncommonly collected northern species that would be challenging to ID from photos.

 Identification: A medium-small and relatively nondescript species. Look for a warm brown colored hair with the hind tibia distinctly widened.

Similar Species: Most closely related to the Nason’s Mining Bee (Andrena nasonii) – a common and widespread species with distinct hair bands on the abdomen.

Known or Suspected Parasites: None known.

Global Status: G5 – Secure

Vermont Status: Not Ranked
