The Pine Tree Cricket is found particularly on White Pine and other pines, but also inhabits other conifers including Cedar, Juniper, Blue Spruce, Black Spruce, and Japanese Yew. This cricket can be difficult to spot not only because it resides high up in the tree crown but also because its brown anterior and green forewings serve as camouflage.
