Identification: Females are all red and medium large. One of only a handful of Nomad species active in June.
Similar Species: Very similar to the less common Austral Cuckoo Nomad Bee (Nomada australis). Females can be separated by the length of the spines on the end of the hind tibia, and by their associated hosts.
