Enallagma exsulans (Stream Bluet)Limited primarily to rivers and some ponds near the east and west borders of Vermont. Can be found along Lake Champlain, in the Champlain Valley, rivers leading into the lake and occasional ponds, especially those formed from dammed rivers. Likewise, found along the eastern edge of the state in the Connecticut River and its tributaries. Often plentiful and obvious. Though a few hardy individuals hang on late into the season, it peaks primarily from the last half of June through July.
