Libellula cyanea (Spangled Skimmer)Once considered a species with only sporadic occurrences in the state. Frequency of sightings has increased and breeding was documented in June of 2013. Records are currently limited to a few southern counties. With Vermont toward the northern end of its range in New England, this species warrants more investigation in the state.
