Arigomphus furciferWidely scattered in Vermont with most records coming from the Taconic Mountains and the Piedmont region. Since rarely found in quantity, is possibly overlooked when present. Also appears to have a fairly compact flight season. Unlike many other gomphids, usually found on ponds and lakes rather than in association with rivers.

Status: G5 N5 S3S4
