Long-tailed Meadow Katydid (Conocephalus attenuatus)

Long-tailed Meadow Katydids will be found at night in their favorite wetland or marsh, where they dine on rushes and cattails. The females are known for having an especially long ovipositor.

They are also known as Lace-tailed Meadow Grasshopers.
