The Green-legged Spur-throat Grasshopper is found in eastern Minnesota through Wisconsin, Michigan, and southern Ontario to Vermont and western Massachusetts, and south to northern Georgia and Arkansas, west to eastern Nebraska (BugGuide). Within these areas it is usually found in low flat open woods and clearings.
