This Checklist of Lady Beetles (Coccinellidae) of Vermont is derived from literature, specimens, and photographs collected and verified by the Vermont Lady Beetle Atlas. It is an update to a 1976 checklist of Coccinellidae from Vermont, which listed 38 species in 16 genera (Parker et al. 1976) based on occurrence records known at the time. The authors listed the first and last date each species was collected in Vermont and the total number of specimens known, a snapshot of Lady Beetle life in Vermont prior to 1976. With the work of this atlas since 2018, the checklist now contains 48 species in 21 genera, with seven species known to be introduced.
