The Striped Sedge Grasshopper is found in low boggy meadows, swamps, marshes, and edges of lakes and tamarack bogs. BugGuide lists its range as Alaska to Newfoundland, south to about NJ, with comment of “seems to have disappeared from much of its southern range”.
