| Description of Habitat | small, grass yard surrounded by a witch-hazel and rhododendrons with trees beyond that (hemlock, maple, ash, etc.) |

| Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation | The bird, a female, was first seen when it flew into our platform feeder where a House Finch and a couple Black-capped Chickadees were feeding. |

| Head | crown brown with a white stripe , thick white supercilium , cheek slightly lighter brown than crown and faintly edged with a darker brown, malar white, eye dark |
