| Description of Habitat | Along roadway .Marshy on one side of road. Mountainous on other. Roadway was snow packed. There were weeds along the edge of road. CH SP was in the midst of four Tree Sparrows.All were picking at seeds on edge of road and flying back and forth across road to cover at times. CH SP stood out from the TR SP. |

| Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation | I was driving toward the end of the main road at Buckner.Had seen few birds other than some White Throated Sparrows feeding at edge of road. Not far from them sighted more sparrows, which I identified as Tree Sparrows, with their central dark spot and reddish streaked heads. As I scanned the group, I spotted one toward the center which was dissimilar in color, a more reddish brown head, no central dark spot on chest, and a faint eye line. |
