mowed/grazed farm fields;
other Sparrows close by: Savannah, White-throated and Song

I thought the bird was a Field Sparrow - size, clear breast, eye ring, light colored chunky bill

Breast, Belly, Flanks, Under Tail Coverts

IMPORTANT: What similar species were eliminated when making the identification and how was this bird different?

Was not a Savannah or Song Sparrow or White-throated Sparrow because of clear breast,

I thought it was a Field Sparrow

I did not examine carefully my photo which was submitted with checklist; Reiviwer Kyle Jones brought the correct identification to my attention. I subsequently changed the ID on the checklist.
