| Behaviors Observed | Unconcerned of my presence as I was standing on the beach looking out over the water. |

| Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation | Making very large, noisy plunges when fishing. would dive several times in a row. Then would circle the inner island and return to same spot and dive again. The bird remained at Emerald lake for 5 days and during those days I saw the bird resting, sleeping in a tree on the little island, always near water's edge. |
