Description of Habitat

Parking lot of Price Chopper supermarket and tree line separating back lot from houses and Walloomsac river

Behaviors Observed

Lone bird in top of parking lot tree, then supermarket roof edge, then in tree top of tree line behind the building, calling regularly for long periods of time

Description of Vocalizations

Very nasal ah,ah,ah,ah,ah, ah,ah,ah, croak, ah,ah, etc

Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation

Black bird, crow size with crow type bill, no comparison birds so cannot say whether it was smaller than an American crow, heard as I exited my car, seen in parking lot tree about 60 feet away, then followed it after it flew to roof top and then tree line behind building, could not see it in tree tops as it continued to vocalize
