Observer’s Previous Acquaintance With This or Similar Species

This species is not unexpected just over the line in Williamstown MA where I usually bird, although it is vastly out numbered by American Crows. I have previously recorded audio of this species four times: https://ebird.org/media/catalog?taxonCode=fiscro&userId=USER13149&mediaType=a although I did not record this observation.

I certify that any attachments included with this report were captured during this observation event.
Behaviors Observed

Flyover. Perhaps a little "snappier" than typical AMCR flight style.

Description of Vocalizations

Nasal caw. Didn't hear the double uh-huh, but distinctive nevertheless.

Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation

I observed a single Fish Crow flying approximately SW roughly parallel to the Hoosic River. I was first alerted to the bird by the distinctive nasal caw. This species has been in the area locally for the past few weeks with two observations reported by me in Williamstown MA just a few miles away on 25 March 2021

IMPORTANT: What similar species were eliminated when making the identification and how was this bird different?

AMCR excluded by distinctive nasal caw
