| Description of Habitat | A little cove on Chittenden Reservoir, reeds, vegetation on banks. |
| Behaviors Observed | It was swimming and diving. It would dive under the water and come up several feet from original dive. |
| Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation | It was swimming back and forth and we were in a boat. It wasn't too bothered by us. It dove under the water and came up a few feet away and keep swimming while we watched. Then it swam toward the mouth of the cove we were in. There was also a beaver that was slapping the water and they were pretty close to one another and neither seemed bothered by the other. |
