Verbal Narrative & Description of Observation

Was out for my morning bird walk, new birds are arriving every day, so every new bird call gets tracked down. Heard song ( thought chestnut-sided) But there right is front of me was a yellow warbler and had a black cap which extended to throat. Instantly went for camera. AND Battery DEAD!) took out and tried warming but no luck. Watched bird singing for about 5 to 8 minutes, then it flew down into marsh floor. I returned to house and charged battery and returned 1 hr 15 minutes latter. Bird still in same are but was not singing but feeding on or near the ground. I got 5 photos but this system does not accept??
