Enallagma boreale (Boreal Bluet)A springtime species found through much of the state, though less common in low open land. Ponds and bogs are the preferred habitat, and it can be fairly numerous where it does occur. Due to its adaptations to fishless ponds, its distribution in the state somewhat follows that of Northern Bluet (E. annexum).
